Buttercream Frosting
Buttercream Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. milk, 3 tbsp. flour, 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix milk and flour.
Cook on low heat, stirring frequently until consistency of oatmeal.
Cool well in refrigerator.
Cream 1 cup butter and 1 cup sugar until light, lemon-yellow color.
Add vanilla and cooled milk mixture.
Mixture has to be cooled or you will ruin frosting.
Makes enough to frost a 4 layer cake.
