Buttercream Frosting
Buttercream Frosting is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. confectioners sugar, 2/3 c. water, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. butter flavoring and 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In a large mixing bowl, add 2 boxes of sugar and water; blend at low speed and work up to high speed.
Scrape bowl sides often. Add salt and flavorings.
Beat in Crisco, a little at a time, until all of it has been added.
Gradually add the last pound of sugar.
If the icing is too soft, add more sugar a little at a time.
If it is too stiff, add water a few drops at a time.
