Butter Shortbreads
Butter Shortbreads is an easy dinner. Made with butter, icing sugar, flour and lemons, rind of, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Have butter at room temperature. Combine butter, sifted icing sugar, sifted flour and lemon juice, with and electric beater; beat on low speed to combine all the ingredients, increase speed to medium and beat for 10 minutes.
Spoon the mixture into a large piping bag fitted with a star shaped tube. Pipe small stars on lightly greased oven trays.
Cook in a moderate oven for 10 - 15 minutes or until golden.
Stand on tray for a few minutes.
Cool on a wire rack.
