Make dough as for biscuits.

Roll the dough out in the shape of a pie crust and about 1/4-inch thickness.

Spread butter over rolled-out dough.

Next, sprinkle sugar over butter.

Sprinkle nutmeg over sugar.

Roll up the dough like a jelly roll and cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces.

Place in a deep casserole which can be heated on top of the stove or in oven.

Pour water over rolls and place on medium heat on top of stove.

Take a spoon and lift each roll so that the water gets under each roll.

When it comes to a boil, place in oven and bake until lightly browned.
