Butter Pound Cake
Butter Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 2 sticks butter or margarine, softened, 6 eggs, 3 c. all-purpose flour and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cream the sugar and butter until light with mixer.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
Gradually add to sugar mixture and fold in sour cream, a little at a time, along with vanilla.
Mix well or until combined.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour or 1 hour and 15 minutes in a Bundt size pan or two loaf pans.
When cool, garnish with powdered sugar.
