Butter Pecan Frosting
Butter Pecan Frosting is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed, 2 tbsp. milk, 2 tbsp. butter, 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch and 1 tbsp. light corn syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine brown sugar and cornstarch; mix in milk and corn syrup until smooth.
Add butter.
Microwave on High, uncovered, for 2 to 3 minutes, or until mixture boils and slightly thickens, stirring once or twice.
Stir in pecans.
Cool to desired thickness. Spoon over cake or other desserts.
Yields 3/4 cup.
