Butter Nut Chewies
Butter Nut Chewies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, 2 eggs, 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Beat eggs until foamy.
Beat in sugar, vanilla and margarine. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to egg mixture.
Beat until blended.
Stir in nuts.
Batter will be stiff.
Spread in pan evenly (13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, greased).
Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool.
Makes 2 dozen.
