Butter Mints
Butter Mints is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. powdered sugar, sifted, 1/4 c. melted butter, 3 tbsp. boiling water, 16 drops oil of peppermint (real mint, not extract) and food coloring (to acquire color desired), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Form into small balls and press with a fork to flatten.
Lay each ball on waxed paper and flatten each one as you make the balls so they do not set up too fast. Chill and store, but be sure to put waxed paper between the layers of mints.
