Butter Frosting
Butter Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 6 tbsp. butter, 1 lb. confectioners sugar, light cream or milk (about 1/4 c.) and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream butter.
Add about 1/2 the sugar, blending well.
Beat in 2 tablespoons cream and vanilla.
Gradually blend in remaining sugar.
Add enough cream to make of spreading consistency.
Frosts one 9 x 13-inch or 2 (8 to 9-inch) layers.
