Butter Cookies
Butter Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 egg yolks, 2 c. butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla and 4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Beat yolks until foamy and yellow color.
Add butter, sugar and vanilla; mix well.
Add flour gradually and combine thoroughly.
Pinch off pieces of mixture size of a marble.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Make a thumb print in each and fill with jelly, almonds or chocolate chips (optional).
Bake for 10 minutes.
Watch carefully, they will not turn brown.
The bottom will get very light brown.
Makes 4 dozen.
