Butter Cookies
Butter Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 lb. soft butter (not melted), 1 lb. box powdered sugar, 1 tbsp. vanilla, 2 eggs and 6 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cream butter, powdered sugar and vanilla together.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add flour gradually and mix well.
The dough is soft and will be easier to work with if cooled for an hour or so before using.
Drop batter by teaspoons onto a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove from pan at once.
Makes 9 dozen.
