Bundt Cake
Bundt Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. butter, 9 eggs, 3 c. flour, 2 c. sugar and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Keep butter at room temperature until soft.
Separate eggs. In large bowl beat egg whites with 1 cup of sugar until fluffy; set aside.
Sift flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
To soft butter add egg yolks and remaining sugar; beat well.
Gradually add flour by 1/4 cup at a time.
Add vanilla; beat well.
Gently mix with egg whites.
Pour mixture in 9-inch Bundt cake pan. Warm oven for 5 minutes at 350Β°.
Place cake in oven; cook for 90 minutes.
Check with knife.
When well done, cool and remove from pan.
Sprinkle top of cake with confectioners sugar.
