Bundt Bread
Bundt Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. shortening, 1 c. boiling water and 1 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cream together first 4 ingredients.
Let cool.
Mix together the next three ingredients and set aside.
When the sugar, salt, shortening and water mixture cools, add 2 cups of the flour and the eggs.
Stir well and add the yeast mixture.
Gradually add the other 4 cups of flour and stir well.
Cover and allow to rise 45 minutes.
Punch down at this point.
The dough may be refrigerated (well) covered, 1 or 2 days.
