Buljol
Buljol is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. salted codfish, 1 or 2 large tomatoes, finely chopped, 1 onion, finely chopped or sliced, 1 green sweet pepper, finely chopped and 1/2 tsp. fresh hot pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Break fish in pieces and place in saucepan with cold water. Gradually heat to boiling and pour off water.
Repeat until fish is no longer salty.
Remove skin and bones and slice fish in very small pieces.
Blend fish with first five ingredients.
Serve on platter and garnish with lettuce, hard-cooked eggs and avocado pear slices.
