Heat green beans their liquid.
Meanwhile, fry the bacon until crisp.
Remove bacon from skillet and to the fat, add vinegar and sugar.
Drain beans and arrange in casserole. Top with slices crumbled bacon; pour vinegar mixture over beans and stand 3 to 4 hours.
Warm before serving.
