Buckeyes
Buckeyes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter, 1/2 c. margarine, at room temperature, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar and 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix together ingredients with your hands. Form into small balls. Place on waxed paper and refrigerate to harden.
In microwave, melt chips and shortening.
Put in a small bowl for dipping. Take toothpick and stick into ball. Dip ball 3/4 chocolate. Put paper without letting the sides touch.
Refrigerate until chocolate is hardened.
Smooth hole from toothpick with finger tip.
