Brownies Cockaigne
Brownies Cockaigne is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 4 oz. baking chocolate, 4 eggs at room temperature, 1/2 tsp. salt and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Melt chocolate and butter in top of a double boiler and cool completely.
In separate bowl, beat eggs and salt until light in color and foamy.
Add gradually to eggs the sugar and vanilla. Continue beating.
Add the chocolate/butter mixture to the egg/sugar mixture with only a few strokes by hand.
Fold in flour and nuts if desired.
Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan, about 25 minutes at 350Β°.
Cool, then cut into squares.
