Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 3 eggs and 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Blend melted butter, sugar and vanilla in mixing bowl.
Add eggs; beat well with spoon.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Gradually add to egg mixture until well blended. Spread in greased 8-inch square pan or 9 x 12-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from edges of pan.
Cut into squares.
