Trim fat from chops.
In large skillet, heat fat and use to brown chops.
Remove chops and put in rice and cook lightly in drippings.
Then add 1 cup water, gravy and carrots.
Stir, then place chops on top.
Place onion slices on top of chops.
Either cook in oven at 350Β° for 45 minutes or on top of stove for 45 minutes.
Put lid on skillet.
