Brown Sugar Pound Cake
Brown Sugar Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. butter, softened, 1 (16 oz.) box light brown sugar, 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 5 eggs, separated and 3 c. sifted cake flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Cream butter and sugars.
Add egg yolks one at a time.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and add alternately with milk.
Beat 2 minutes.
Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry.
Fold whites into cake mixture with vanilla and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured 10 cup tube pan and bake 1 1/2 hours or until cake pulls away from edges of pan and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool 25 minutes in pan, then turn out onto rack.
