Cream the butter, shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add dry ingredients, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Bake in tube pan at 325Β° for 1 hour and 50 minutes. Remove from pan and cover with glaze while cake is still hot.
