Brown Sugar Fudge
Brown Sugar Fudge is an easy dinner. Made with 4 c. packed brown sugar (light), 1 to 2 tsp. vanilla, 1 c. half and half and 1 c. melted butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix all together; bring to boil over high heat.
Boil 18 minutes on medium-low heat, stirring occasionally.
Put pan in cold water and beat for about 5 to 7 minutes until it thickens.
Pour into buttered plate or pan.
Cut when cooled.
If it hardens too soon, just add a little milk to smooth it out, then put in dish.
Can also be used for icing on a jam cake.
