Beat eggs; add sugar and cornstarch, then add butter, milk and vanilla. (Use wooden spoon or whisk, not electric mixer.) Cover bottom of unbaked pie crust with pecans or raisins; pour pie mixture in pie crust and bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 275°; bake until firm.
