Brown Bread

Mix 1/2 cup white flour and raisins and/or nuts; set aside. Cream sugar and Crisco.
Add soda, salt and molasses until blended.
Mix in flours and milk, then flour-nut-raisins mixture; blend well.
Pour into 2 greased bread pans.
Raise 15 minutes. Bake for 1 hour at 350Β°.
