Brown Bag Apple Pie
Brown Bag Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 apples, peeled and sliced, 1 (9-inch) pie shell (unbaked), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Put sliced apples in pie shell.
Combine 1 cup sugar, salt, cinnamon and 5 tablespoons of flour.
Sprinkle flour/sugar mixture over the apples.
Sprinkle 3 tablespoons water over flour/sugar mixture on the apples.
Combine margarine, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup flour in a bowl.
Sprinkle mixture over pie.
Wet a brown paper bag on the outside and place pie inside the bag.
Bake 1 hour at 425Β°.
