Broccoli Soup
Broccoli Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 bunch fresh broccoli, chopped or 20 oz. frozen chopped broccoli, 1/4 stick butter, 1 medium onion, diced, 1/4 c. flour and 1 clove garlic, chopped fine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Boil broccoli until very tender.
Cool; pure in food processor.
SautΓ© onion in butter along with flour, garlic, basil, salt and pepper until onion is transparent, but not browned.
Add broccoli, evaporated milk and milk.
Heat to boiling point.
Serve hot with French bread and grated Cheddar cheese.
