Broccoli Coney Island
Broccoli Coney Island is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli, chopped, 1 c. sour cream, 1 clove garlic, 1 envelope dry beef flavored mushroom soup mix and 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook broccoli in 1 inch salted boiling water until tender; drain and save liquid.
Add enough water to make 1/2 cup.
Place liquid, broccoli, sour cream and garlic in blender until smooth. Place mixture in saucepan.
Add soup and Worcestershire.
Heat to boiling.
Garnish.
Serve with crackers.
Makes 2 cups.
