Broccoli Chowder
Broccoli Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. fresh broccoli, 2 cans chicken broth, 3 c. milk, 1 c. ham, chopped and cooked and 1 tsp. salt (may use less), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cook broccoli with 1 can chicken broth for 7 minutes, until "tender crisp."
Remove broccoli and chop in bite size pieces.
Add second can of chicken broth and 1 cup milk.
Add ham, salt and pepper; bring to a boil.
Stir in broccoli, 2 cups milk, cheese and margarine.
Serve before it boils a second time.
