Broccoli-Chicken Casserole
Broccoli-Chicken Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut broccoli, 2 c. frozen small whole onions or 3 medium quartered onions, 1/4 c. margarine, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cook frozen broccoli until tender.
Cook onion until tender and drain.
Melt 1/2 cup margarine and blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Add milk; cool until thick.
Blend in cream cheese. Place vegetables in 1 1/2-quart casserole with cubed chicken.
Add sauce and lightly toss.
Top with cheese.
Melt remaining butter and toss with bread crumbs.
Sprinkle on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 50 minutes.
