Broccoli Cheese Soup
Broccoli Cheese Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, 1 medium onion, finely chopped, 1 can cream of chicken soup (10 3/4 oz.), 1 c. rich milk and 1 to 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In 2-quart saucepan, bring 1/2 cup water to boiling.
Add broccoli and onion.
Cover and simmer 5 minutes or until tender. Do not drain.
Stir in soup, milk, cheese and pepper.
Cook and stir until heated through.
Top each serving with chopped peanuts and shredded cheese.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
