Broccoli Casserole
Broccoli Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 8 deviled egg halves, 2 c. cooked broccoli buds, 1 1/2 c. medium white sauce and nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Butter 4 individual casseroles.
Add a few grains of nutmeg to the white sauce, then add the broccoli and mix carefully so as not to break the vegetable.
Divide the creamed broccoli evenly between the 4 casseroles.
Press 2 deviled egg halves in the top of each, pushing the eggs well down so that only the golden yolks show.
Heat at 325Β° for about 20 minutes.
Eggs are delicious with broccoli.
