Broccoli Casserole
Broccoli Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 slices white bread, 3/4 lb. sharp american cheese, sliced, 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained, 2 c. finely diced ham and 6 slightly beaten eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cut 12 doughnuts and holes from bread.
Remove crust from scraps, fitting scraps in bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Place cheese slices in layer over bread, followed by a layer of broccoli, then a layer of ham.
Arrange bread doughnuts and holes on top.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over all.
Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours, or overnight.
Bake uncovered in slow 325Β° oven for 55 minutes.
Sprinkle some grated cheese over top 5 minutes before end of baking.
Serves 12.
