Brown sausage; drain and set aside.
Butter bottom of casserole dish.
Lay bread on bottom of dish; crumble sausage over bread.
Sprinkle cheese over bread and sausage.
Mix eggs and pour over cheese.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
