Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sausage or bacon (brown and drain), 6 eggs, 2 c. milk, 5 or 6 slices bread and 1 c. cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper then blend in onions, peppers, and mushrooms - set aside.
Butter a 9 x 13 pan and place bread slices in bottom.
Sprinkle browned sausage on bread, then add egg mixture.
Cover pan with foil and bake 30 minutes at 350Β° or until eggs are set.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese; then bake an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
May use 1/2 c. cheddar cheese and 1/2 c. mozzarella cheese.
