Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 slices white bread, 3 1/2 c. milk, 5 eggs, well beaten, 1 lb. fresh mild sausage and 1/2 lb. grated cheese (cheddar), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Saute sausage; drain.
Butter bread on one side.
Arrange 6 slices, buttered side up, in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Cover bread with half of sausage and half of cheese.
Beat eggs and milk together and cover cheese with half of egg mixture.
Repeat layers, first beginning with bread and ending with egg mixture. Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour, uncovered.
Can be prepared the night before serving and refrigerated overnight.
