Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. pork sausage, bulk or cut-up link, 2 1/2 c. herbed croutons, 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 6 eggs, beaten and 1/2 c. chopped green onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown and drain sausage; reserve.
In 9 x 12-inch pan, place croutons; top with Cheddar cheese.
Layer sausage evenly on top. Blend eggs, onion, peppers, mushrooms and 2 1/2 cups milk.
Pour over sausage and refrigerate overnight.
