Breakfast Casserole
Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. sausage, 2 1/2 c. seasoned croutons, 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 4 eggs and 2 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Break up sausage and brown.
Pour off drippings.
Place croutons in greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle cheese over croutons.
Place sausage on top of cheese.
Beat eggs, 2 1/2 cups milk and mustard; pour over sausage.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Just before baking, combine soup and 1/2 cup milk. Pour over egg layer.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
