Bread Stuffing
Bread Stuffing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 to 2 tbsp. melted fat (crisco, spry or unsalted chicken fat), 1 tbsp. chopped onion, 1 to 2 tbsp. unsalted stock, 1 c. low sodium bread crumbs (you may use low sodium hot water cornbread) and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt the fat in the frying pan; add the onion and saute until tender.
Add the low sodium bread crumbs and seasonings and mix well.
Add the stock.
This is a light, loose stuffing.
It can be varied by leaving out the onion or the sage, by adding a little garlic or by adding unsalted nuts or raisins.
