Bread Bowls
Bread Bowls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yeast, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1/4 c. warm water, 1/4 c. shortening and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.
Cut shortening into flour, baking powder and salt until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in yeast mixture and just enough buttermilk until dough leaves the sides of the bowl and forms a ball.
Knead for 1 minute or until smooth.
Cover; let rest for 10 minutes.
