Wash cucumbers; do not peel.
Slice paper thin.
Makes about 16 cups.
Cut peppers and onions up with cucumber.
Put in pan. Sprinkle salt and cover with crushed ice.
Let stand 3 hours.

Make pickling syrup of sugar and white vinegar.
