Braised Red Cabbage
Braised Red Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head red cabbage, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. water and 1/4 c. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cut cabbage in half.
Wash, drain, core and shred.
Melt butter or margarine in kettle over low heat.
Add shredded cabbage and saute 5 minutes.
Add sugar, salt, vinegar and water.
Toss until mixed.
Cover and cook over low heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Spoon into dish.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
