Braised Green Beans
Braised Green Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. olive oil, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1 lb. fresh green beans, washed and tips removed and 1 c. canned tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Heat oil in heavy saucepan.
Add onion and garlic.
Cook until golden.
Add remaining ingredients.
Juices should just cover beans in pan.
If not, add a little more water.
Cover. Cook over low heat for 45 minutes or until fork-tender.
Serve with pan juices.
