Bourbon Balls
Bourbon Balls is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with angel food cakes, cut into bite sized pieces, . box powdered sugar, oleo, . water and . bourbon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix in top of double boiler the sugar, oleo, water and bourbon.
Put over boiling water.
Mix pecans and crumbs to taste. Using 2 forks, dip cake pieces in bourbon mixture.
Allow excess to drip back into pan.
Roll quickly in crumb mixture in small bowl.
Place on rack to dry.
Store in dry tins.
(Sometimes one runs out of either of the mixes, but remixing takes little time.)
