Boston Baked Beans
Boston Baked Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. pea or navy beans (dry), 3/4 c. molasses, 3/4 c. catsup, 2 chopped medium onions and 2 tsp. dry mustard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Soak beans overnight. Drain water off in morning.
Add fresh water and boil gently about 1/2 hour. Drain. Cut salt pork into 4 pieces. Add beans, salt and remaining ingredients to bean pot. Cover. Cook all day at 300Β° (at least 8 hours for best results). Add water if necessary.
Great for a picnic!
Freezes well.
