Boston Baked Beans
Boston Baked Beans is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 10 minutes. Made with bacon, c. onion, chopped, garlic, minced or pressed, (15 oz.) pinto beans and c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Slice bacon into 1/2 inch strips.
Saute bacon, onion and garlic for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drain beans. Combine beans, onion mixture and remaining ingredients in 1-quart casserole.
Bake, covered, at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Uncover; bake 30 minutes longer.
Serve beans with barbecued meat or chicken. Makes 4 servings.
