Bojangles Biscuits
Bojangles Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. self-rising flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 2 tsp. confectioners sugar, 1/3 c. crisco and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix flour, baking powder and sugar.
Add Crisco and mix until crumbly. Add buttermilk and stir quickly until mix does not stick to side of bowl. Turn out on floured board and knead well.
Roll to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with 3 1/2-inch cutter. Dip in melted butter or margarine.
Place on greased pan and bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 450Β°.
