Boiled Oatmeal Cookies
Boiled Oatmeal Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. milk, 1/4 lb. oleo, 4 tbsp. cocoa and 2 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Stir sugar, milk, oleo and cocoa into a saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Continue boiling for 1 1/2 minutes.
After mixture has reached a full rolling boil, remove from heat.
Blend together the oatmeal, chopped nuts, vanilla and peanut butter with first mixture.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Makes about 30 cookies.
