Boiled Custard

Heat the milk in double boiler until forms a skim (light).
While the milk is heating, beat the egg yolks well, then add the sugar and flour, which have been mixed well. When the milk is hot, remove the skim.
Add the egg and sugar mixture slowly, stirring constantly.
When this has cooked long enough to lightly coat the spoon, it is done.
Add vanilla.
(Optional, you can add beaten egg whites into this.)
