Mix margarine, milk, sugar and cocoa powder together; boil 4 minutes.
Remove from heat and add oats and vanilla.
Stir together and pour onto waxed paper; let cool.
Work fast because it sets up quickly.
Break or cut into pieces.
Store airtight. You may also add 1/2 cup coconut or 1/2 cup peanut butter.
