Mix flour, salt and baking powder.
Cut in shortening until like cornmeal.
In a 1 cup measure beat together vinegar and egg, then fill cup with cold water.
Mix together flour and water mixture.
It will be soft and sticky.
Roll out piece of dough on well-floured board to 2 to 3 inches wider than pie pan.
Place in lightly floured pan.
Should make 2 (2 crust, 8-inch) pies.
